With clients’ enthusiastic about a contemporary rural home, the brief opened the opportunity to explore forms and materials.
The concept of two pavilions reflects the difference in public and private spaces while providing a strong connection to the rural landscape with mono-pitch structures reminiscent of the rural shed.
To enhance the duality of spaces, tilt slab concrete panels abut extensive glazed areas to create the play between private and public. Glazed areas open generously to terraces, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside and providing a relaxed living rural environment.
