John Rushton
Director, Principal Architect
BArch, ANZIA
John studied at the School of Architecture at Auckland University, completing his degree in 1993 and Registration with the NZIA in 1996. In 1998 John founded the firm as a sole Practitioner, and later as the Principal Architect and Director of Rushton Architects Limited.
John is responsible for the overview of the company direction, project feasibility and the design direction of Projects

Richard Bown
Team Leader, Senior Architectural Draughting Technician
BSc (Hons)
Richard carried out his studies at Sheffield Hallam University. Richard joined the team at the end of 2004 upon his immigration from England.
Richard’s key roles are leading the drafting team, Concept Design Presentation, Project Construction Documentation and Project Observation.

Vicki Rushton
Director, Business Manager
Vicki has been with the firm since its founding in 1998 as the Companies Business Manager. Vicki came to business with a background in Retail Banking and Financial Services Training from the Bank of New Zealand.
As Business Manager for the Company, Vicki’s key tasks in her role are Contract Accounting, Business Finance, Marketing and Human Resources.

Jack started working part-time with Rushton Architects in 2016. His responsibilities are Design Presentation, rendering, 3D modeling and printing, IT support and development.
